The mindset came first.
In 2013, Mike Pirtle started a web series called The Elite Mindset. The message was simple: whoever you want to become, start today and be that. ELITE was never meant to describe people above us. In the middle of the word is the letter i. ELITE isn't above us. It's within us.
Then came the icon.
In 2017, in the Bay Area, where Silicon Valley's innovation meets Oakland's culture, the mindset became something you could wear. The ELITE® icon was first worn in March of that year.
Now it's reborn with a purpose.
ELITE garb™ is a brand of ELITE Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so what you wear funds the work of Guiding A New Generation. That work has already started. Courtesy of the Foundation's contributions, the ELITE Fellowship has delivered college credit for students and free or reduced tuition for creative entrepreneurs. Red Label marks the rebirth: the same icon, the same mindset, a bigger reason to wear it.
The plan is the mindset.
